The Ipad Wall Mount Bracket is at your service…and could not be happier!
Interactive devices are proven to enhance therapies of many varieties, and The Carolina Autism Supported Living Services of South Carolina could not agree more!
Located in Charleston, Executive Director Phil Blevins has discovered an innovative and excellent way to utilize iPads in their Residential and Day Programs.
By securely mounting the iPads utilizing the iPad Wall Bracket on a standard rolling laptop stands (please see photos below), and installing the Kiosk Pro app, The Carolina Autism Living Services is now able to document in-residence therapy sessions more efficiently and effectively.
“We used iPadWallBracket.com for the enclosure. There are many other sites with similar products but this seemed best for our purposes.”
Blevins chose brackets with the hidden home button, then installed Kiosk Pro, free from the Apple Store.
He then set the Therap login page as the start page, and limited the Kiosk browsing range to the Therap domain.
The iPad brackets are mounted utilizing the Desk-Wall attachment that provides 45 degrees angled desk or wall mounting for the iPad Wall Bracket. This was mounted on a rolling laptop stands. Since the mounting surface of the stand is made of plastic Blevins thought it best to “mount” the brackets with a metal/plastic polymer adhesive so as not to damage the surface with drilling.
Though Blevins noted some limitations with using the the iPad itself, the iPad Wall Mount Bracket had proven to be a reliable and secure addition to in-residence therapy sessions….Which makes us very happy!
